Mental Health Matters

Mental Health Matters:

When it comes to mental health, I am certainly not an expert. Although one thing that I can say is that everyone struggles in some shape or form. Over the nearly 2 years being in a pandemic, I have come across my own battles and continue to have days that are hard. Social media has turned into a platform full of negativity, judgment and standards that can put pressure on anyone. People often think of me as a person full of smiles. I stand by the motive, "One smile can go a long way". Smile at the service workers and thank them for your morning coffee, greet the someone while you hold the door for them, simply just be kind because you have no idea how someone may be feeling that day. A simple smile and greeting can go a long way, and maybe on a day that your are struggling, someone will greet you with a smile or compliment that will impact your day.
